This years Cincinnati Pride Festival will be a little different than it has been in the past. The official Cincinnati Pride Parade has been moved to downtown on the 3rd of July for this summer. If you have attended the festival anytime in the past decade, then you have enjoyed the streets, community, and businesses in the neighborhood named Northside.
Many residents of Northside have told me that this festival has been a tradition for 10 years or more, as far back as they can remember, and just because it has been moved downtown, we will not go without our own celebration of equality here in our own community this summer! We have already gathered a collection of local establishments; restaraunts, bars and clubs who are proud to sponsor this years Northside Pride Festival. As in the past, we are setting up an agenda with a day of GLBT Pride including activities and entertainment, events and of course Hoffner Park can be enjoyed by all of those who are looking for some fun in the sun.
Look at what’s happening at this years Northside Pride Festival!
Noon: Be sure to show up at noon for programs and a special event in Hoffner Park.
1pm: Northside Tavern - Fashion Show with Jessica Cornetet, Toby Tyler, PAOLO USA, Chicken Lays an Egg, and Atomic Number Ten with hair and makeup by Noah’s Art Salon. Ends 3:30pm.
2pm: Club Nonta – Will Corson Pop Karaoke and Lady Gaga-palooza Dance Party and Gaga Drag Show. Ends 4:30 pm.
3pm: Mayday – Comedian Mike Cody and more, with drag host Queen b. Ends 4:30pm
4pm: All Venues – Bands & Shows, including CinCity Burlesque, Enguard Flag Corps, Pike, Da Muttss, The Lixgood Family Show, The Iolites, and RubberCityRoyals. Ends 8pm.
5pm: Bronz & Nonta – Drag Queen Shows: Monica St James, Shafreaka, Krystal Lamour, Jessica Dimon. Drag King Show: Maxx Lixgood, Seymore Cox. Ends 10pm or later.
6pm: All Venues – DJ Harv A Nator, DJ Mowgli, Rick Always, and That Digital Kid Bruce Emery. Ends 8pm or later.
9pm-3am: Club Nonta – DJ Gerald, Mayday- 1st Wave with DJ Brian, Northside Tavern – DANCE_MF. & more @ Bronz.
